Holdenville, the county seat of Hughes County, is in the beautiful rolling hill country of Oklahoma. It is served by State Highway 48 & US Highway 270, located about 75 miles east of Oklahoma City and 100 miles south of Tulsa.
Annual events include the IPRA Rodeo in Holdenville, Fall Festival the first Saturday in October and the Hughes County Free Fair.
